British ColumbiaJust to be thorough, I call Vancouver, BC home. Situated in the southwest corner of British Columbia, Vancouver is a port city nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountain range. We are, in my humble opinion, blessed with international class ski slopes, beaches, world class offroad mountain bike trails, forests and rivers all within the Metro Vancouver city limits. While most people might look at this and this and wonder why anyone would need to leave the city to enjoy this part of the world, I have always loved the experience of getting out and finding new places to enjoy (I suppose you never appreciate your home as much as a visitor). Vancouver is well situated to enjoy thousands of miles of roadway in all directions with a new destination and increadible scenery available at every turn. A very small geography lessonView Larger Map Yes, I have placed Vancouver in the center of the map... I know.. it's not the center of the universe but what the heck. Individually aren't we all the center of our own universe? Vancouver is situated right next to the border with the United States and with little effort you can be exploring north or south of the border.
